Biocredit™ – User Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Biocredit app (“App”), website, and services (“Services”), operated by Biocredit, LLC, a Texas-based company (“Biocredit,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By enrolling your fingerprint or using Biocredit to make a payment, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility You must: • Be at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent). • Own a valid debit/credit card or bank account linked via Stripe. • Enroll using your real fingerprint and accurate information.

2. How Biocredit Works Biocredit enables you to make secure in-store payments using your fingerprint as an authentication method, replacing traditional card swipes. • You enroll your fingerprint in the app once. • You link your card/bank securely via Stripe. • At checkout, simply scan your finger on a Biocredit-enabled device to pay.

3. Fees • User Fee: Biocredit charges a 4% fee per transaction made through the biometric payment system. • This fee will appear in your transaction summary at checkout. Example: Purchase = $100 Biocredit Fee = $4.00 Total Charged = $104.00

4. Security & Biometric Data We take your privacy seriously: • We do not store your raw fingerprint data. • We convert your fingerprint into a secure hashed template, which cannot be reverse-engineered. • We follow industry standards for data encryption, tokenization, and privacy. You authorize us to use this biometric template solely for payment authentication.

5. Stripe & Payment Authorization • Payments are processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant provider. • By linking your payment method, you agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement. • You authorize Biocredit and Stripe to initiate and complete transactions on your behalf.

6. User Responsibilities You agree to: • Use your own fingerprint and valid payment method. • Not enroll other users or unauthorized fingerprints. • Immediately notify us of suspicious activity or unauthorized use.

7. Account Termination You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for: • Fraud or abuse • Violation of these Terms • Regulatory or legal reasons

8. Refunds & Disputes • Biocredit does not handle product returns or refunds — contact the merchant directly. • If a transaction error occurs, we will assist in coordinating with Stripe to resolve it.

9. Limitations of Liability Biocredit is not responsible for: • Merchant product issues • Hardware malfunction outside our control • Delays caused by third-party services (e.g., Stripe) Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees you’ve paid in the last 3 months.

11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas.
