Biometric Information • Fingerprint templates (not raw images), which are hashed and encrypted. • Used solely for identity verification and transaction authentication. We do NOT store raw fingerprint scans or images. b. Personal Information • Name, email, phone number • Payment card details (securely processed via Stripe) • Transaction history c. Device & Usage Data • Device ID, operating system, app version • Log data (usage patterns, crash reports)

2. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: • Authenticate payments using your fingerprint • Process transactions securely via Stripe • Prevent fraud and unauthorized access • Improve our services and app functionality • Send account-related notifications and support

3. How We Share Information We never sell your data. We may share data only with: • Stripe (for secure payment processing) • Service providers (cloud hosting, customer support) • Legal authorities when required by law or court order All third parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Biometric Data Practices In compliance with U.S. state biometric privacy laws (e.g., BIPA, CCPA, TX HB 4), Biocredit: • Collects biometric data only with user consent • Stores only encrypted templates, not images • Uses biometric data solely for user authentication • Retains data only while your account is active (or for legal/regulatory compliance) • Allows users to request deletion at any time

6. Data Security We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256, SSL/TLS) and follow PCI DSS and NIST guidelines. • Biometric templates are stored securely on-device or encrypted in transit and at rest. • Stripe handles all payment method storage and PCI compliance.

7. Data Retention We retain: • Biometric templates while your account is active • Transaction records for up to 7 years (for legal/tax reasons) • Other personal data until you delete your account or request erasure

8. Children’s Privacy Biocredit is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this Policy We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you via email or app notification.
